Abstract – Considering a lack of understanding and low awareness of the use of antibiotics and antimicrobial resistance among their parents and caretakers, this study seeks to understand potential problems in relation to use of antibiotics among children with cleft in Vietnam. A cross sectional survey was conducted to collect data on knowledge, attitude, and practice regarding the use of antibiotics among parents and caretakers of children with cleft. Findings from this study will help to develop targeted interventions in support of the health and well-being of children with cleft.
