THE FACTORS THAT AFFECT GREEN PURCHASE INTENTION USING TEXT MINING AND REGRESSION ANALYSIS

by Daniel Lee
Category: Computer Science
Abstract – As the importance of protecting the environment becomes increasingly apparent, the use of green products has become a pressing concern. To shed light on this issue, this study examined the factors that affect purchase decisions. First, Word2Vec model was used to mine the relevant words that are highly related to green purchase intention. Then, the study formulated the results into variables, which were used in the regression. The result revealed significant variables that are highly related to green purchase intention and that the combination of the text mining algorithm and traditional regression analysis proved to perform well.
