Türkiye as a Case Study: Developing an Effective Earthquake Management and Infrastructure System

Abstract – Türkiye is one of the most seismically active countries in the world. Therefore, throughout history, it had some of the deadliest earthquakes globally, including the earthquake on 6th February 2023, which had tremendously destructive impacts on the country. This community project focuses on a potential earthquake management and infrastructure system improved by considering the current seismic infrastructure of Türkiye and other role model infrastructure systems around the world. It is aimed this community project contributes to developing the earthquake systems in Türkiye, and raises awareness among the society.
